Do you know what this antique is called?

I received this from my grandmother, trying to figure out what its called. She said it was from China, something like an old noodle stand... anyone know a name or additional details? http://www.4ogdens.org/antique

2. looks like a heater maybe? you open the doors and put a fire in there, put water in the top and put your food in the little boxes on top? kind of like a mini bain marie
