At a Golf/Country Club, what qualifies someone as a "resident" or "non-resident" ?
This typically matters where fees are concerned, with "residents" getting a discount on green fees for golf, or day passes for pools, etc. Thanks in advance!

- You need to just ask the course. Some consider people in the county the course is located as residents, some, just the city.
- Generally it's a resident of the county or city.
- A resident is someone who owns or rents a property on the club grounds. Everyone else is a visitor.
- Some golf courses which are owned by municipalities or country governments, cater to those who live in the town or county( residents ) as well as those who do not( non residents ). The resident fees are usually lower and the non resident pays a higher fee to use the facility. Most venues will issue some sort of identification to distinguish the two.
