Why do most men like stockings and garter belts?

Just trying to understand why.

1. i don't know about about garter belts but i do like stockings because because men like the lil tease and anticipation on whats above them(stockings).
2. Pretty much any man will tell you he likes to see a woman wear sheer stockings. They give legs a smooth look while hiding any imperfections. I'll take a woman wearing stockings over a woman with tanned, bare legs any day! Over the years though, we have been conditioned to believe that a garter belt is used more for sex appeal rather than practical purposes. If a woman wears hosiery at all these days, it is usually pantyhose. What a great surprise to find out a woman is wearing stockings instead! It's like a sexy little secret that we're being let in on. How is that not fun? What makes the lingerie even more appealing is when the woman wearing it has the confidence that she looks great! When a woman has that kind of confidence, she can wear just about anything and look sexy!
