Where to buy designer clothing at wholesale price?

I want to sell designer clothing online to the new zealand market ( mostly on trademe which is an auction site). Clothes are my passion! Where can I get Betsey Johnson etc at a wholesale price? And none of those "you have to pay to get the list first" scams. I just wonder who the suppliers are and how people can sell authentic items on ebay under retail price and still make a profit.
