I won an ebay auction but i dont want the item anymore, what will happen?
I know its bad but i panicked because the item was ending in 6 minutes! I don't want the item anymore. I'd pay for only IT if i knew i'd be able to sell them on again. Know anyone thats wants 2 tickets to see beyonce live at the 02 on my 26th? They are really good seats (Block B3 row A) and i love to go, its just i'm a broke student who has come to her senses and realised i need the money for more important stuff. SEATING PLAN http://www.theonlineticketexchange.com/seatingplans/202_SeatinePlan.gif so many typos! its may 26th not "my 26th". oh and i emailed the seller straight away after i came to my senses (5 minutes after i won the item) he hasn't contacted me yet...

- One you click that bid button and yours id the winning bid, you have to pay for the item(s). It is a legally binding contract between you and the seller. unpaid items policy: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/unpaid-item.html buyers rules and regs: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/buyer-rules-overview.html You can resell the tickets. Good luck to you.
- Quickly e-mail the seller. Last time I was on e-bay you could contact the seller on the top right corner of the screen. Knowing you wil not pay for the tickets, he may be able to sell them again. If you do nothing your account will be noted (I think) but no one can force you to pay.
- well you agreed to a legal contract! so, anything could happen really. your account could be suspended for forever
- Tell the seller you will pay his listing fees for the item ( a few dollars at most) and tell him you can't pay for the tickets. He may let you out of the purchase that way - it costs a listing fee for the seller and he would have to eat that if you don't pay him for it. If he is reasonable he will do it. If not, you will get a strike against your ebay account - three strikes and you are kicked off ebay. He will also most likely block you so you can't bid on any of his items ever again.
