How can I tell what Amp alternator I have?

I have a 2003 chevy avalanche. To find out which belt I need, I need to know what size alternator. it's either, DAYCO Part # 5060923 {Effective Length 92.32" / Top Width .82" / Number of Ribs 6} Multiple Accessory, w/105 Amp Alt. or DAYCO Part # 5060930 {Effective Length 93.00" / Top Width .82" / Number of Ribs 6} Multiple Accessory, w/145 Amp Alt. Can you tell by looking at the alternator?

1. get them both, put on the right one and return the other. or take the old one to the store with you.
2. the rated amps are stamped into the case on the alternator. there will be a number followed by the letter A
3. see if there is a serial # on the alternator and then the parts store will be able to tell by that or just take your belt off and take it to the parts store.
