What is the advantage of having an ebay shop compared to just selling your stuff in normal auctions?

Is it worth it? I'm about to sell some vintage clothes but thinking they will just sell themselves cause its good stuff. Does anyone ever look in eay shops for clothes or do you just scroll down? How much does it cost to have a shop?

1. Ebay shops cost starts from $15.99 a month. It has low listing fees if you list is as store item. If you have lots of items to sell and go for ebay shop otherwise Auction/Fix price format is good. Just compare if $15.99 a month is worth for number of items you are expecting to sell.
2. People do surf on ebay whenever it comes to buying. The Prices are competent enough. This way even ur product will get some good deal. Good Luck

4. Hi – I am an established seller on eBay. eBay has been my full time job for 4 years, and I have sold over 12,000 items. You may have great items for sale, but they don’t always sell the first time around on auction. Auctions can get expensive if you have to continually relist items. It isn't that the item stinks or isn't a good seller, maybe the right person just hasn't seen it during the 7 days it was on auction. When you open a store, you can put items in STORE INVENTORY on a 30-day listing for only 5 cents a month. These items show up on searches, and shoppers will look at them. You can also put your best items on auction to drive traffic to your store, and then buyers will see your inventory items there. Always put your UNSOLD items into store inventory immediately. If buyers can’t see what you have, they can’t buy it! Sometimes your watchers will forget or be unable to bid, and they will buy the item the next day from your store inventory. They'll get an email that says, "Your watched item has been relisted" and there is a link to it. This happens to me all the time. I sell about 25% of my items thru store inventory. Also, you can add BEST OFFER to your items and consider offers from buyers. You can't use BEST OFFER on auctions. eBay Stores also provides you with sales and traffic reports as well as a wealth of other features that can help you identify the best products to sell.
