Belt Auction

can u bak out of selling on ebay during the bidding or after time runs out?

i was thinking about selling my bike on ebay for like $300 and im worried that if during the bidding within the last 5 minutes the bids are only up to 150 or something, then can i cancel it all and stop the bid?

  1. yea get someone u know to make a high bid! my mom did this with something i was selling...kinda funny
  2. No, but nobody said you had to send it, just send an email to the winner and explain what's going on.
  3. No. If you wanted to sell for $300, you should have started at $300.
  4. sadly no. :/
  5. yes u can its bad 4 ur profile thou try craigslist its free
  6. Just put a minimum bid of $300.00 on it (a reserve) - Then you don't have to sell it for less than $300.00
  7. No, but you can refund the money once they pay, but you should have started it out at 300.
  8. You can put a reserve price on the bike so it will not sell lower than what you want. Melissa
  9. Get some one you know to buy it and then get it from them. Next time put in a minimum bid.
  10. No you can't. What you can do however is, when setting up your auction, sell your bike with a reserve price of $300. That way any bid under $300 will not register and you will be guaranteed of getting at least $300 for it assuming someone is willing to pay that much for it. The bad part about reserve prices auctions is that if no bid gets to $300 you obviously keep your bike but you still have to pay ebay their listing fee.
  11. You can set a minimum bid amount or set a reserve amount that must be met before there can be a winning bidder. It is also a good way to figure out if your bike is worth $300. If you start the bidding at $300 and no one bids, or you set a reserve at $300 and no one bids to the reserve your bike isn't going to sell for $300 and you can either relist it for a lower amount or decide to keep it. If you chose not to do either once someone starts to bid on your item you cannot remove the listing.
  12. You should start with a bid of $300. I think you should notify the person and ebay to see what you can do- although you are going to be on a very low level and noone will want to buy from you again- sorry- but its true.
