who makes master pro timing belts for kragen? are they same quality as gates?

1. The short of the long is there are only MAYBE four-five manufacturers of belts in the US. Kelly, goodyar, gates, masterpro doesn't matter. As long as its not made of paper...lol IUnless you needed it yesterday look around on the net. I like kevlar belts (no matter who makes it) and I can usually find them for half the cost normally paid
2. hello Robotwiz; yes there are not many builders of belts as GoodYear owns Kelly and Gates and about every tire company out there. You must look for the quality even Goodyear can make a bad belt then it is sent off under a strange name brand. What you want to do is look for the fiber stripe in the center of the belt but without the cogs as if they where not there. So the closer the stripe is in the center of the meat of the belt (side view) the less stretch it will have and hold up under high RPM'S
