Does this look like a good deal for an AR-15?

- sure, but DPMS is the low end for AR-15's. That's why they are cheaper.
- If it was a factory built DPMS I would say yes. But since this is a fudd built AR15, built by god knows who, (could be a complete idiot) I would pass. Lower parts kits should be installed by YOU (it's not hard at all), or a competent gunsmith.
- yes any ar-15 that cheap is a good deal. that is a trusted site too
- If it was put together properly then yes.....
- DPMS is not a "cheap" manufacturer, they are top quality, BUT, this is a kit gun, and who knows if the person who assembled it knew what he was doing. The price is about right for a kit gun. I can build it very similar to that one for $625.00 plus cost of shipping to me. Would I take a chance on it at that price? me personally, yes, because I probably have enough parts laying around to rebuild darn near all of it at no extra cost to me. But, for joe average who doesn't have the parts? I'd think long and hard especially since you can't handle the firearm to see what kind of shape it really is in. And, you can order a new one from RGUNS out of shotgun news for about $200 more. in the end, only you can decide. shoot safe
- Its a good deal..........any good AR is worth that and more. If all parts are there...its fine.....even if you ck it or pay a gunsmith or a AR builder to look at it for 25.00.
- First of all people DPMS is hardly cheap. Continental Machine Tool builds teh parts for DPMS among other AR15 brands like Colt, Rock River Arms, and Stag just to name a few. In my opinion DPMS is a very good bang for the buck. As for Del-ton kits, I've heard a lot of good and very little bad about the company. I honestly don't know if I would pull the trigger on this one since I don't know who manufactures the part for Del-ton.
- I would not pay more than $700 for that rifle online.
