John Deere Saber Riding Lawn Mower Belt Routing?
I need to know where to find a routing diagram for a 46" cut John Deere Saber Riding Lawn Mower. Any ideas? It's an older modle.

- You can try Google your model number. Here is what I ended up doing on a garden tractor of mine. A friend made it easy for me. The deck belt usually just runs the spindles on the deck. There is one of those spindels that has 2 pulleys on it. The top one is usually made to accept the belt that runs from the motor pulley to the deck to provide power to the deck. Idler pulley's always ride on the backside or flat part of the belt. My friend said to just study the pulleys and idlers and you can easily figure out where the belts go. You may need to unhook a deck bracket or two to get belts on, but you will see where the belt needs to go. Look carefully under the hood and sometimes lay down and look up under the frame and there might be a diagram of the belt path there also. I know if you study your deck/pulley's you can figure this out.
