Where can I find tips online to fixing a half shaft myself?

Hey I've been teaching myself on repairing my own car lately. I brought it in for new tires and an alignment and they shown me the left half shaft was broken and I needed alignment cams. I called my handy dandy mechanic and went to my bro and friend and they said I could do the job myself. The way my bro shown me it doesn't seem to hard. I have the tools and want to do it myself. The company wants $520.00 and alone my friend works at an auto part store and already told me he can get me a 50% discount on the parts. So is there a guide online that can help me along? Or also would it explain how to take it apart in a chiltons manual? thanks for the help.

1. Are you asking on how to "Replace" the half shaft...or Rebuild it?? I believe a Website like "Autozone.com" will help you in replacing it.
