How can I make money off of Breyer Horse collectibles?

I have about 50 from a few years ago, out of their boxes, but I think the boxes are saved somewhere. When will they be worth more than I paid, if they ever will be?

1. go on ebay and look at the same models from the same year and see how much they are getting for them
2. You can check out ebay and see what they sell for there. Try doing research on the internet and see what you find. I have a large collection going back into the 1970's. I have found that they do not bring as much as you may think. Special retired models still in the box sell for more. I found that my friends Barbie and GI Joe collections are worth more. The economy now is not good, and it is hard to sell anything. Good luck!
3. They don't improve in value very fast. If have any limited editions they would improve faster because they only made so many of them and then stopped making them. If the ones you have are still being made then they won't be worth any more than you paid for them. Hang on to the boxes though. They are very important when trying to get good money for a collectible.
