What do you do after you win an ebay auction?

I was just wonder after you win an auction on ebay how do you sucessfully have a transaction with the seller. Do you pay for the item right away? If you do pay and with paypal does the seller know where to send via paypal or do you e-mail them the information? Thanks for any answers.

1. I usually pay right away with PayPal. My address is attached to the account. Sometimes I will message them where to send the item.

Well, after I win an auction, I pay for the item by paypal, this is quite an easy transaction to do as paypal is run by ebay now, choose to pay for your item from the "my ebay" page and go through the paypal process, all of the information etc.... should allready be filled in, the money will then go from your paypal (yourname@domain.com) to their paypal (theirname@domain.com) After you have paid for the item it will apear as payment made on ebay, then just wait for the person to send you your item and leave feedback accordingly.
3. Celebrate by smothering yourself in chocolate.
4. In your "My eBay" you'll have reminders to pay for an item, you click "Pay Now" and it'll take you to the Paypal checkout. Enter your Paypal email/password, and then confirm the payment. The seller will receive the payment, and ship to the address on file with Paypal. Yes, please pay right away. eBay gives you 7 days to pay, but if you can, go ahead and pay ASAP...as most sellers HATE waiting on people to pay! Trust me! Also, the sooner you pay the sooner you get your item.
