Ebay - automatic bidding?

How do I set up automatic bidding on Ebay? I can't find it in their "help" section.

1. Just bid your maximum price on the item then should someone else bid, ebay will bid up to your max price (thats what they call automatic or proxy bidding) Of course its always best to wait until the final minutes/seconds of an auction to place your max bid. (this is my opinion anyway:)
