Where can I find decent furniture at discount prices without having to join a club or hire a designer?

1. well dont join a club. they are a total ripoff, do not know how they stay in business. Go to antique stores and ashley furniture and value city too, also home decorators collection.
2. Have you given any thought to resale or consignment shops? You might be surprised to find a selection of current furniture designs available for less than 50% of retail - and even less. You will need to look around for quality, well-run shops and then shop them often. If you are friendly with the staff you can ask them to be on the watch for what you are looking for. I rarely shop retail anymore, since I can find well-made furnishings at significant savings. Plus you are helping the local business rather than a large conglomerate. Good luck and happy shopping!
