Where in Los Angeles are Auto Auction held?

I need to buy a newer, reliable car preferably a convertible in the next few weeks and i don't know where these auctions are held. I don't want any of these online sites I want to be able to physically start the car and see it before the auction. Also if you could tell me an estimate of how much to bring that would help.
