Im new to ebay . i posted up my Canon Rebel XT EOS camrea for 750 Starting bid. 2 days later i get a email Saying Waiit - " How much are you willing to let go this item for a buy it now reply soon as am ready to buy now from you ?" I replied back with 800$ The day ends and i get an email from him. Waiit -"Dear friend Thanks so much for the swift response to this transaction which make me feel more delighted to buy it from you ,i want you to make the shipment to my Grandson in Nigeria who is in the college and will be needing the item for his finals , i would have love to have the item shipped to me first in the UK so that i can see if its really as described on ebay but due to my job and considering the time and extra money for the shipment back to Nigeria, i want you to reply with your paypal email so that i can get the money transferred to your paypal account immediately ,i will also include the shipping charge via USPS 8 Days Express Mail International (EMS). Once the payment is made paypal will send a confirmation e mail within 24hrs of making the payment, i will be making the payment of 1,100USD with shipment to Nigeria it is urgently needed that is why i had to offer you such an amount of money so that you would be able to ship the item out once you receive the confirmation from paypal after 1-24 hrs of my payment i will leave you your positive feedback after a complete transaction, go ahead and end the auction to show me your readiness to sell this product to me also let me know if you have similar item for sale so i can do the payment together. 1. well DEFINATELY do not give her your paypal details. I have been using ebay for some time now and only go thru the ebay selling channels. If she gets your paypal stuff, she can take way more than you think she can. Tell her no, to buy it thru the normal way and you will see that she paid thru a MESSAGE FROM EBAY, and then send it.
2. its a scam, dont do it.
