How to purchase item in Auction Yahoo Japan with USA credit card?

There are a lot of cheap stuff in Auction Yahoo Japan (auction.yahoo.co.jp), but it requires the credit card with Katakana name, and the billing address also has to be in Japan only. I live in NYC, and I ask my Japanese friend. He said that his Japanese credit card was Romanji name. You may suggest me, if I can open the Japanese Bank account online, and pay for the item with the account. I really need the items in Yahoo Japan Auction.

1. yes agreed that there are lots of gems in Yahoo Japan Auction and the credit card in NYC is strictly prohibted to use to register a full premium ID in Japan.
