How does bidding online for a car work? Is it safe? What if the car is bad?

I saw a local place has bidding online for cars- but I wanted to know how exactly does car bidding work? Thanks!

1. Umm why dont u goto their website and click on FAQ? Since u dont seem to be talking about eBay no one would know what their bidding policy is, especially since u dont even mention their name.
2. "What if the car is bad?" That's the chance you take when you buy any used vehicle, especially if you are buying it online. Used cars are sold "as is", so if it has problems you have no recourse. It's your car and your problems.
3. You never buy a car without inspecting it first...not you...a MECHANIC.
