Ebay automatic bidding? I didn't want to automatic bid?

I'm so confused. I never said for it to automatically bid. I bidded for an item at .59 cents and not it's up to 5.50. I'm the highest bidder and I don't want to pay this much! What do I do? I never ever ever confirmed any of these bids or anything. I am not paying for this. This is bullshit.

1. You may have entered the amount of your bid wrong. You either entered 5.90 or even 59.00. If you just entered 59 without any decimal point it would be taken as 59.00. Your bid will be automatically increased until it reaches your maximum amount, which is the amount you entered however mistakenly. You should contact eBay and the bidder immediately, explain what happened and ask to withdraw your bid.
