How much is this gun worth?

1. while it doesn't specifically state it, to my eyes that matte finish is NOT a standard S&W finish, looks like it has been refinished. which alone will cut it's value. That puts the max value at about $500, if everything else is pristine, and the refinishing was done well. Now, who knows what the refinishing has under it, if it was properly stripped, if there was rust, etc, and the pics aren't good enough to see the quality of the refinish (but it looks decent) This is an example of a gun you'd NEED to see in person to give a good value to, it could run from $300 to $500, but you never know when some moron will fail to spot the refinish and think it is an all-original model 29 and pay $900 for it.
