Do the Flex start ab toning belts really work?
I've seen these ab toning belts on tv that supposedly flex your abs for you. Has anyone tried them? Do they really work?

- I've tried them, they don't work enough to give visible results unless you have exceptionally weak muscles. they work by sending electrical impulses to tell the muscles to contract which makes them stronger. unfortunately the contractions aren't strong enough to make a difference to the average muscles. the technology is used to help rehabilitate people who have suffered accidents which have left them partially paralyzed to help them build up muscles they wouldn't normally use. I would recommend exercising and following a healthy diet to get the body you want. Yoga and pilates works well for toning the body and running and swimming are good for losing weight. To build muscle weight training is best.
- no it is shameful that these scams are allowed to continue but TV stations make money from running the infomercials and the government collects taxes off products sold so nobody really cares about the people who throw their money away on this garbage.
