How important are belts for the cooling system re: 2004 g35 coupe?

I have an '04 g35 coupe and apparently I need new belts for the cooling system. How important is this and what kind of cost am I looking at?

1. If belts are worn replace them, you may be on the road one night and pow ! no belt. Pick up Haynes manual for your car and change belts a few wrenches and a friend to help and you will do fine. Belts cost around 30.00 each depending on make of car. Call auto store or go there and they will see what you need.
