What is the best & easiest way to raise money for a device for my wheelchair on the Internet?

Im trying to raise money for a $2000 device that will allow me to operate my wheelchair. It is called a head array. It is very similar to a head rest but it has wheelchair controls built into it. I am a 19-year-old quadriplegic & a mother of a two-year-old daughter.I am a quadriplegic as a result of a 2005 car wreck with a drunk driver. I do not have any movement in my hands or arms & so I cannot control my power chair with the normal joystick controller. My mother takes care of me at home & it is very hard for us to go anywhere because she is not able to push my power chair because it weighs over 300 pounds.I have been turned down twice by my insurance because they say I did not need it.That is just an excuse for them not to pay for it because I really absolutely need it. If you would like to help please check out my auction on eBay or send a donation through PayPal to my account listed below. My eBay auction # is 190166682224 & my e-mail address is quad.mom.2005@Hotmail.com :-)

  3. There are far too many scams out there of people trying to get money for charitable causes. The only way I can see you making any kind of money is if you some "real" charity to back you and take the money for you. Either that or a bank set up a trust.
  4. you need multiple streams of income. you can start a donation pretty easily im sure! and i would also fill out online surveys, thats another stream of money. I make about 900 bucks from doing that. There's a link in my profile to the sites I use.
