having trouble selling kids clothing on ebay? any suggestions?

I need to get rid of lot of childrens clothing. I have put some up at first they did okay but now they are not doing so well. I have thought about starting the auctions out at .99 but i am afraid that it well end for a ridiciouls amount like 3 or 4 dollars. Any suggestions from anyone who has any experience in this area, would be greatly appericated. Thank you i use the money to invest in ther purchase new clothing for them.

4. Unfortunately selling clothes on a already flooded market is hard. 3 or 4 dollars is normal. I purchased brand new designer kids clothes recently, all up I paid around $30 including postage for 6 items. I was wrapped however, I felt sorry for the seller who would have paid over $100 retail, My advice, maybe sell in bulk or 3 or 4 items in one bundle. Dont start the bidding at 0.99 cents because if you get only one bid, Im sure you would be disappointed. Perhaps do a Buy it now for 3 items for $10? Another good reason to list a couple of items together would be that you will save on listing fees. Also dont overvalue your items as noone will buy them. Make sure you take clear pics of the items & write a decent description (not one sentence like Ive seen) Hope this has been somewhat helpful.
