where online can you find how much your boyd's bears are worth?

Please dont say E bay! For one reason, I have no clue how to work e bay, and two, I have bears that are retired and a few limited edition bears and I just would like to know the value of them. Also, I have a few bears that do NOT have tags but still has the sewn on tag on their bottoms or legs....I'd like to know their names. Some have investment collectables tags on them... some have a sewn on tag on the bottom of their foot that says commemorative edition with all the attached tags....three have gotton a tiny bit dingy like the white ones; and I would like to wash them.. should I take them to the dry cleaners? Or washing machine? Any insight on websites that list todays value for retired bears, or limited edition bears... ANY website that you can type in the tags numbers and the bears imfo pops up.... anything like that is what i am hoping for. Thanks guys!

Or you can try http://www.boydsbearcountry.com/ This site has a "museum" that you can browse, and perhaps find some of the bears you have. Good luck in your search!
I don't know anything about the collection of bears but I do know how to wash them! Take warm soapy water and dip in a light colored wash rag. Then rub the spot clean. Then take another light colored wash rag and dip into plain warm water and repeat. This will "rise" the soapy off. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE WASHING MACHINE! They might tear and the stuffing could come out. If they have tags you wouldn't want to put them in the machine anyways.
You could try your library some time they have books to tell all that you would want to know . They also have computer there and they would help you find what you want on the computer. Queen Bee
