How to buy from Japan Yahoo auction?
I'm trying to bid something from Yahoo Auction Japan. I live in US and I was going to use "tenso" because the seller doesn't ship oversea but I've never used Yahoo Auction Japan so I don't know how to pay. I'm pretty sure they don't use Paypal. I think I have to pay it using Yahoo Simple Payment option but can anyone tell me more about this option? Can I use my VISA card to pay with this option? Thank you oh i forgot to mention that I only know little Jap. Kanji is kinda hard to read i just found out i have to be a Yahoo premium member in order to bid something more than 5000 yen. Is there other way to do this w/o becoming a premium member?

- You can't shop on Yahoo Japan Auctions from overseas, whether or not you're a premium member. You have to use a shopping service like Celga, Rinya, or Crescent Shop. How you can pay is going to depend on the shopping service's rules. Also, "Jap" isn't really a good abbreviation for Japanese, since Jap is a pretty horrible racial slur.
- This page explains how to get registered from other countries. It's in Japanese. But if you can't read it, it's difficult for you to use Y! Japan Auction. http://help.yahoo.co.jp/help/jp/auct/kakunin/kakunin-14.html >option but can anyone tell me more about this option? Can I use my VISA card to pay with this option? It's payment you can pay from your credit card or Japanese bank account. It's like Paypal. But only within Yahoo! Japan users.
- Premium member does not matter anything about its auction. You have to consign some agent if you really want to place a bid on there. It may cost but no other way.
- I would be willing to help you by paying for your item, you paying me, and then shipping it to you. However, we run into a logistical problem. First, we have no idea how much shipping will be. Second, Yahoo Auction is very strict on the time constraints placed upon users for making making, so any delays are kinda' bad. Third, I am not going to pay for an item without being paid first, and waiting for your payment goes back to statement number 2. I'd like to help, but I think it is a hopeless mess. I really would be willing to help, but I have to protect myself. Hope your understand. And the time lags just make it all but impossible. And, no, Yahoo Auction doesn't use PayPal. I guess the members could if they wanted to jump through hoops, but I doubt that is going to happen. What in the world is it you want to buy that you are spending so much time and effort on? Maybe it could be done a simpler way?
