- Making multiple offers is dangerous. If more than one is accepted, you face buying more than one property. An accepted offer is a legal and binding contract. Are you prepared to buy multiple properties ?
- Doing that is risky and you would have to give an earnest deposit for each offer you put up. I would find a place you really are serious about and then make an offer.
- Sure you can if you want to buy multiple properties. I had a potential investor call me with cash available that wanted to fire a bunch of offers on properties, but after I talked to him a bit, he did not have adequate resources if a number of his offers were accepted. He wanted to entertain the strategy of a zero earnest money (deposit) offer, but if someone brought one of my sellers a zero earnest money offer, I would advise them accordingly. No earnest money, no deal. An offer has to at least bring modest earnest money to be considered a serious offer. The only way you can "renig" on an offer without potential penalty is if you withdraw before the contract is accepted or you have contigencies built in the contract to withdraw without forfeiting your earnest money.
