What bridesmaid dress colors go with an off-white antique looking lace wedding gown?

Vibrant colors just don't seem to go well.

1. When I was a Jr. Bridesmaid, the bride had a oysterish color dress, and she did a brown. If you want to stay with colors try Navy Maroon Olive Green Muted colors Burgendy Deep purple

3. this might sound a bit odd but go down to a hardware store and get some of those paint chips that show you the different colors. put them next to the dress so you can get some inspiration on what colors look good and which ones wont. from there you can look for dresses in the same color palette.
