Looking for a Beretta 92d?
I'm looking for a Beretta 92d. I have checked gunbroker, gunsamerica and auction arms. Does anybody know where else I can look? Its hard to find one especially one in good shape. If anyone has one that they want to get rid of I have a brand new Glock 22 rtf2 new in the box and unfired I would trade. Just contact me and we could go through our local FFL's so that everyhting is done legally.

- Double action only Beretta? Kind of a neat gun. You might want to check with the Hospital Police at your local Veterans Administration Hospital. A modified 92D has been their duty gun for about 10 years. I know many of the officers bought the standard 92D as a practice pistol. Might be some available from them. The modification on the V.A. guns was the addition of a magazine disconnect safety. pull the mag out of the gun and it disconnects the trigger and hammer. Standard 92D does not come with the feature.
- Sorry I am keeping mine. I did not realize they would be so favorable someday, Here is an ad with one for sale through Cheaperthandirt. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/FreeAds/auction.cgi?action=ViewItem&ID=1219198057&Lang=English I carried a revolver for 17 years and when I transitioned to an auto I could not adjust to the first shot double, second shot and all other shots single action. This was before the Glock caught on. A friend ordered me the Centurion 92D. I got a throat job done on it and it's been a trusted side kick for several years. Good luck.
- No luck on gunbroker? I searched "92D" and found one for sale for the same price as the cheaperthandirt link... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=170230329 And heck, one on gunsamerica too... http://www.gunsamerica.com/967159403/Guns/Pistols/Beretta-Pistols/Model-92-series/Beretta_92D_Centurion_Trijicon_Nite_Sites_3_Hi_Caps.htm
