How to get foreclosures on Zillow?

I am looking for properties on zillow, and many of them are foreclosures and are provided by foreclosure.com. I don't want to subscribe to foreclosure.com and my real estate agent says that those properties aren't on the market yet. What can I do?

  1. You wait for them to come onto the market. Only smaller local banks will deal directly with buyers. The large nationwide lending banks hire real estate brokerage to dispose of their foreclosed properties. They have NO interest in dealing with individual buyers.
  2. zillow is worthless for that - if you are looking for foreclosure properties to buy - get a real estate agent to work with you - it costs you nothing as a buyer
  3. You can get the properties at the banks' websites. Wells Fargo posts all their foreclosures at pasreo.com ( I don't work for them and the site is free). Other banks have theirs. Each city has attorneys who handle the foreclosure auctions. The properties are listed on their websites. They don't enter all the information until the day before the auction. Visit the courthouse steps at noon any weekday. Ask the auctioneer to put your name on his mailing list. Realtor.com ( i don't work for them and the site is free) has most repo's. All foreclosures must be posted at the County Recorders Office. That is the law. You can find them there.
