Which Real Estate Club would you join - ReMAX / KW / Century 21?

Hi everybody, I'm going to be a real estate agent soon, if given the choice to pick a brokerage firm for mentoring.. of which do you feel delivers the best knowledge, training, support and is always on top of their games? What I've heard recently is when you're new it's better to pick the ones that offers you free office space, from what I heard.. only ReMAX gives you this benefit.. it that true? If you will, could you please elaborate more on the benefit / values of being an agent and the club that's offering today? Much appreciation :) -Minh

  1. one that bring allot of consumers with a good reputation of being honest
  2. I have been an independent broker for 37 years, but from what I have observed most of the franchises offer training. However ReMax is more for the experienced agent. They may offer "free" desk space, but there are other fees you will have to pay. Ask a lot of questions about fees and costs. Don't rule out the independent Realtors. Many of them offer training too. realtor.sailor
  3. as a new agent, the MOST important thing you can get from a broker is TRAINING!!!!!!! Again, TRAINING. Remax is a great company, but they will NOT provide you with the training you need to start out. I don't know about C21 or KW in your area. In my area there is Long and Foster, which requires all new agents to take a FREE 2 week training class. This class shows you how to use the forms, farm, etc. PS: did I say that TRAINING is the most important thing for a new agent?
