ebay auction?
okay so im kind of new to the ebay auction thing. when i price a bid and no one else does that mean they have to sell it to me? or can they decide not to? did i make sense? will it show that it is reserved?

- It depends on whether or not they set a reserve price for the auction. A reserve price is the lowest dollar amount they are willing to sell the item for. If they haven't placed a reserve, then it goes to the highest bidder regardless of the amount. If they did place a reserve, it will say "reserve met" or "reserve not met" on the auction screen. - I don't know if the rules have changed, but it used to be that sellers could have what they call a "reserve" on the item up for auction. If no bid matched or exceeded the reserve then the seller could decline to sell the item. Without the reserve, I believe that eBay requires the item to be sold to the highest bidder, even if there is only one bid. I recommend browsing and reading the eBay message boards, though, to find out more about their rules and how things are done there. It's always a good idea to be as well-informed as possible about their rules and your options!
- yes ,if nobody else bid it within the time period, you would win the item by the price you bid.
