Wondering what the best military discount is for airfare?

My husband is a veteran and is currently active duty. We are planning a trip to hawaii in april, we plan on flying out of nashville to honolulu and would really like to know what the best price out there is. For some reason I cannot find anywhere to put in a price for a military discount? does anyone have any suggestions or know of a great airfare for active duty or veterans?

1. Veterans? nada. Even with active duty, most airlines will only give the military discount for flights on official orders. Even those that give the discount without that restriction, the discount is only for the actual servicemenber. So your husband can get a discount on his ticket, but you will have to pay full price. The airlines normally require that you book directly with them. The only thing you can do is to do the research for each airline by calling them ask them. Airlines do not publish what kind of discount they give to active duty military.
2. What AJ said - airlines, in general, do not offer military discounts. And I'm a bit confused - is he a vet or active duty??
