How does bidding on Ebay, with regards to 'time left' work?

If I wanted to order something that closes for example in 1 hr (assuming I have the highest bid), do I have the option of paying later (for instance, the day after) or do i have to make my purchase right when the bidding period ends?

  1. You can pay later unless they specify you must pay instantly. Sellers prefer to get paid right away.
  2. The listing usually tells you how soon after the bidding stops you have to pay...the item can be relisted if you do not pay in the time the seller has specified...the time is usually 2 or 3 days...
  3. if you win, you will get an email from ebay. and request you make a pay for purchase. after you bidding, just wait an email , because they will let you know that you r win or lose ...
  4. You can usually get away with waiting a few days without paying. If you wait too long though, the seller might send you an email. I'm sure if you sent them a message upon winning the item that you have to wait a few days they would be fine with it.
