What are the three belts associated with the serpentine belt in the engine?

I have a Nissan Quest (minivan) year 1997. One of the belts underneath the serpentine belt is dryrotted and cracked. Does anyone know what the names of the belts are that are associated with the serpentine belt? There are three belts. Thanks!

  1. They wont be called serpentine belts then, their just drive belts. Serpentine drives everything under a single belt. 3 drive belts, most likely A/C to crank, alternator+water pump to crank, Power steering pump to crank, thats a rough sketch, just look at the pulley and figure out what its for and go to your parts store and ask for the belt that drives that accesory.
  2. I've looked at various belts for your car at: partstrain.com, autopartswarehouse.com and autopartsgiant.com. Different length belts drive separate under-hood accessories. To tell you the truth, the lists are confusing to say the least. Different belts, drive specific accessories. All you have to do is figure out what the belt drives and remove it. Take it to any auto parts store for a new one. Keep the belt in one piece if you can. They can at least match-up the lengths of the identifications are worn off. There are two different specific models of Nissan Quest vehicles. We don't know which one you have.
  3. Your three belts are for the alternator, for the water pump and power steering pump, and for the air conditioner (first source). I imagine the belts are original so it is time to replace them all. Better to do it when you can schedule it than to wait until they fail and possibly strand you or even allow the engine to overheat, damaging it.
