What's the commission split at your Real Estate firm?

If you are a realtor with dilbeck, remax, century 21, can you tell me the commission split between you and the firm? I just got my license would like to get answers b/4 i go in for interviews next week. Also, can i go in there and basically tell them that I want more of a percentage than they offer? Please only answer if you know your facts. Thanks

1. Depending on what your position is in the firm. Initial starters are usually on around a 60/40 split because the company pays for all the marketing etc. When you become established and have some sales under your belt the split changes but then you also pick up some of the costs.
