Has anyone ever seen a Mosin Nagant stock like this?

2. It's not an ATI make. It looks like someone took the time and either: A) Painted the stock black B) Forged a black stock C) Modified an old ATI Stock D) Russia was experimenting and let this through the cracks
3. Hi Reb! I wish I could tell you something about it,but my searches have proved futile! It looks old and based closely on the original stock. The shape of the butt,with the exception of the "pistol grip" and the finger grooves look almost original. I'm going to take a wild guess,and say this was a sporter stock made in the late 50s-early 60s by a now defunct company. You have peaked my interest,so I will keep searching and will post back if or when I find out anything definite! By the way,were you thinking of buying it? :) @ acmeraven,the listing said this was fiberglass or plastic. To my knowledge non of these original stocks were anything but wood. I may stand corrected in the future,though! :)
4. Somebody has cut down a military stock and dark stained and finished it. Not a bad looking job I would say.
