What should I do when somebody with 0 feedback is bidding on my ebay auction?
I am selling a camera on ebay, and the highest bidder has 0 feedback, and their account was created in May of 2008. it is now November 2010. What should I do? My auction ends in 12 hours, so I need a quick response! Thanks!

- just wait... if he didn't pay you just cancel his bid and accept second one
- I myself had very little feedback for a very long time but I just recently started to shop again on ebay because of Christmas. If the highest bidder wins they win. If there's any problems right away you can always offer to the second highest bidder?? I would give the person a chance but I don't sell on Ebay I'm a buyer.
- wait till they pay before you send it everybody has to start some where if they never bought before.
- It's a first time bidder. We all start out as 0. Have a little faith and as long as the person wins and pays - you will have no problem.
- Make sure to turn on the UPI Assistant (Un-Paid Item Assistant) for your items. This system will automatically open a case against non paying bidders. You are free to send second chance offer once the auction closes, but you should at least wait until the unpaid case is closed (The winning bidder has until then to rightfully pay for the item) Keep in mind that feedback scores are only kept for 12 months, since their account is 2 years old, it's possible that they were dormant for more than a year "just looking". Also keep in mind that not all users know HOW to pay, so send an invoice after a few hours of auction close to help remind them that they bid, AND won... and still need to pay... some people think eBay and paypal do it for them.
- Listen everyone has to start somewhere...its really tough. Ive had alot of 0 feedback people who have been lovely wonderful speedy payers who know exactly what they are doing. Im currently dealing with a 0 feedback who won the auction and is still asking me questions about the item and not paid. Its a hard one. If they dont pay you can open a dispute but on someone with a 0 feedback what is it really going to do. If anyone else is bidding make some wishes that they outbid the 0 feedback. Give them a chance if they prove a hassle block them.
