How to get the attention of homeowners and real estate agents?

I have a new service for homeowners and real estate agents/brokers that helps sell/rent their properties and get major exposure. How would I get their attention? How would I get them to use my service? Any kind of advice would be appreciated.

  1. Realty offices have weekly meetings. You can ask for 2 minutes to speak. They don't want a 30 minute "presentation" but they will listen to your ideas. Or you can visit agents during their open houses when they are bored. Pass out flyers to homeowners.
  2. Teach the people of you community. Run a workshop in your area on a relevant topic. The people that are selling a home in your community are interested in learning more about how to do it. Have a real estate seminar, and invite another agent or broker to give a talk about how to sell real estate. This will give you contact with an agent and many homeowners. Ensure that there is a registration form for all participants that you can use to follow up on. No one attends a workshop for no reason; each person may well have his or her own purpose for being there. All social networking communities such as ning, twitter, facebook and myspace should be incorporated. You want to establish a reputation as an expert. That will make it easier to mention your service in a polite way.
  3. i am a researcher of RE processes. What is your idea-service and I will share with you how to promote it. I am hoping it is new but I have seen nothing new in 15 yrs.
  4. Best to email as many agents as possible with an introduction letter
  5. For the Real Estate Agents networking with them and telling them what you do is good. If you find someone you could use them as a reference and market it to Real Estate offices locally. Than after you've done it locally you could get a website and then advertise to agents nationwide. You could use Internet Marketing to reach nationwide customers. Those are different ideas that I have about it I hope your idea works for you.
