How much money do real estate agents/investors make?

It seems that every real estate agent or investors I hear about is rich. Does anyone know any real estate agents who dont do well? What kind of career is it?

1. Paul, people have made fortunes in this business and some with no brains have not earned much. Always remember it`s not about what you but it`s about how you do it,you always need to have an X-Factor. Regarding $$$ , YES !!! People do make bi money out by helping out two kind of people one who wants to sell a land and one who wants to buy a land.Agent works on commission basis. You gotta be updated with all the info abt land prices and maintain contacts to be aware of availability of land and opportunity to sell. Hope this helped a lil bit to you. : )
2. Are you serious? At least 95% of real estate agents are sucking wind for business, and have been for the past year or two. If you ask them, they are all doing great - Hello!! McFly!! That's what sales people say, they never say, "Christ, I can barely put food on the table if that" even though that is closer to the truth. Housing prices are 40% to 80% (depending on where you live) of what they were 4 years ago and the number of houses sold is 70% less than it was 4 years ago. You tell me, Einstein, how real estate agents are getting rich. Ditto for real estate investors. Quick look up! "Gullible" is written on the ceiling!
3. A lot of hard work and you can do well, you can make as much money as you want but you have to do all of the things you are suppose to do.It's easy to not work because you don't have any clock to punch.
