how do wwe championship title belts work?

Does the wrestler lose the championship title belt whenever he loses? Or do you only win the championship title belt in wrestlemania. I dont get it. I just know 2 guys go at it then one wins.

1. Some guys get to keep a duplicate version of the belt. Generally, though, the wrestlers swap it around.
2. he loses the title when he's in a match that the title is on the line. that could be any time, not just at wrestlemania. there are title matches all the time.
3. I'm not sure if I understand you question but I will try. A champion can lose a match and keep the belt if the title is not on the line. Or if the belt is on the line and they get DQ or counted out they can keep the title. But if you have the title on the line and lose straight up then you will no longer have the belt. And it can be lost any time of the year not just at WrestleMania. I hope that answered you question.
