Help me fix my grammar and spelling for my paper?
Heres my essay Im doing on Ebay and Amazon Comparison. My grammar is really poor :P english is my second language so please help me fix my grammar and make it sound better. here it is Ricky Huang eBay vs Amazon The two most popular online shopping sites: eBay and Amazon. Amazon is like an online store and eBay is not an online store, more of an auction house and is a site where people go to buy and sell their stuff. Both are really successful companies; but which is better- eBay or Amazon? Well, I think eBay is better than Amazon for many reasons: I find it easier to use, more people use it, more items, and more payment methods. Through my research and my personal experience eBay is a bit more expensive, but you get more options like payment and page layout. Unlike Amazon, eBay charges a listing fee whether or not an item sells, as well as any applicable PayPal fees. But its commission is also much lower than Amazon's (8 percent on items under $25, compared with 15 percent). I call this a Tie. So what kind of payment methods do these sites offers? What is payment method? Well payment is pretty much how you going to pay for your things. Most common payment methods are credit cards and bank transfer. Amazon only accepts Credit/Debit card or an Amazon Gift Card. While eBay can accept PayPal, money orders, cashier’s checks, or cash (in person). As you can see eBay gives the seller more payment options than Amazon. I say eBay wins this one. Next is format. Format is basically how you going to seller your items for example eBay popularized the auction format listing and Amazon concentrates solely on fixed-price listings. So which is better? So eBay is better if you are selling antiques and collectibles, as auctions are easily the best way to get the best prices. The Amazon buyer is more affluent, and pays a higher average price for products. EBay is trying to downplay auctions and encouraging fixed-price listings. I call this an eBay win Taxes, we all know what taxes is you pay taxes for things you buy. EBay enables sellers to collect applicable taxes in addition to the sale price which means sellers won’t lose any money to taxes. Amazon sellers are responsible for the sales tax on any items sold so, they generally add the tax into the fix price of their items. It’s a pain in the butt for Amazon sellers. I say eBay wins this one, as well. What about return policy? If you don’t know what return policy is, basically it allow you to return the item and get a refund within a specific period of time. Amazon has the A-to-Z Guarantee which allows buyers to receive a full refund if an item is materially different from that described, for up to 90 days. In a dispute, Amazon typically sides with the buyer. On the other hand eBay seller is free to negotiate with buyers through eBay's PayPal dispute resolution and the seller is not required to offer a refund. While the dispute resolution process can be effective, it can also become messy and time-consuming and can result in negative feedback. I usually don’t have any problems, most of time I can negotiate with the sellers and get a full refund if there’s a problem with my order. I called Amazon win. Photos, its where people post a picture of the product they’re selling. EBay sellers have always struggled with photos. Trying to take good photos, figuring out how to get the photos to show up on eBay, and how many photos they need. Every item, doesn’t matter if it’s exactly the same as another, is will get its own photo on eBay. On the other hand Amazon is different. You only get one photo, and one description page, and all sellers use the same page. Usually the first photo posted on a product, everyone will use the same photo. Some sellers don’t like the idea of other sellers using their photos. It’s better to have more photos for your product, so the customers can have a better view and idea of the product. I called eBay win. Feedback, basically it’s when buyers and sellers leaves a impression of a transaction. Both sites allow buyers to leave positive and negative comments for sellers. The more positive feedback you have the more people will buy from you and trust you. Amazon buyers can see the seller’s feedback score, and usually tends to overlook it more readily than eBay buyers. Amazon’s A-z Guarantee makes the buyer feel more protected when purchasing an item.
