1. It shouldn't be difficult to have this ring authenticated if the owner felt it was really worth something. If I was the owner and felt it could be an authentic WW 2 ring, I would have it authenticated and appraised before offering it for sale. It could be worth the starting bid and little more, or it could be worth much, much more!
