Where can I find a free online guide for pricing collectibles?

My collectibles are part of a holiday collection, and include platters, cookie jars, etc. The only portion of this set that I have found online are the salt and pepper shakers. Does that mean that no one is buying? Or does it mean that no one is selling?

1. worthmonkey.com ( i don't work for them and they are free to use) is a good place to start. Then you end up going to ebay. People are buying and selling but each person uses a different description of their item so it is hard to search successfully. There are some antique appraisers online but they charge $25.
