Are there any bidding websites like Ebay that dont use paypal?
Paypal are trying to pay back a conman by refund even though i have told them the proof of this and other sellers he has ripped off, so i don't trust paypal anymore and never want to use it in the future. Are there any websites that i can use similar to ebay or bidding websites that offer simple debit card payments instead of paypal. i have agoraphobia so this is the only way i can buy things.

- There is something inherently wrong with the way PayPal operate; they shafted me by returning the money to the buyer, he ended up with my item and his money back even though he hadn't raised a dispute. You don't have to pay by PayPal, contact the seller before an auction ends and ask them if it's ok if you pay be personal cheque, direct bank transfer or postal order and say you are willing to wait for them to clear before the seller sends them. There are a lot of other selling sites (not really auctions) where PayPal doesn't have such a huge stranglehold - look at preloved.co.uk and groovycart.co.uk for starters, you may find what you want on there. Groovycart is building all the time and it looks as if it will be very big, although along with many small sellers they probably won't offer a debit or credit card payment because of the cost to them.
