Do those exercising slimming belts that have Velcro on them work?

We have one of those stretchy belts that you wear over your tummy and is supposed to slim you down. Do they work? I would wear it WHILE exercising. So would it speed up the process?

1. I don't believe they actually slim you down. There are some belts that provide support while you workout, but it's the actual workout itself that slims you down. Have a great day! :-)
