- 1) Your link does not work 2) A custom wood stock is NOT going to be cheap, you could easily get a much better shotgun with nicer wood far cheaper then you will be investing into your 870 Here is a good place to look for some premade stocks for the 870 http://www.gun-parts.com/remingtonstocks/ Now if you do have too much money to know what do to do with an insist on having a shotgun where your stock is worth much more then the gun itself go to http://www.huntingsociety.org/gunstocks.html 870's are some of the best hunting, tactical shotguns made BUT they are NOT meant to be a high end shotgun if thats what you want you need to buy the right gun. What you are talking about doing is like taking a Ford Focus and putting a Porsche body on it.
- 870 stocks can be found at any gunstore. even cabellas http://www.cabelas.com/link-12/product/0037703216143a.shtml
- I have seen some gorgeous 870's. Gold inlay, engraving, and wood that makes you drool. I don't have a source for custom stocks, talk to your local gunsmith, try fajen stocks, or just ask around a lot. and good luck with your project.
