Belt Auction

This is a continuation of my last question on my lost 401k.?

I forgot to say that I am in Id. now and the job was in Ms. and the company is no longer called Discount Auto Parts anymore, some other auto parts outfit took over and I can't find them, so how can I find my 401k that I paid in, and is still out there floating around somewhere.

1. Call the U.S. department of Labor - Employee Benefit Standards Administration. The employer is required to file a Form 5500 which should include the name of the plan administrator. Once you have that, you can call the plan administrator and track down the account.
